Denny
Park
 A
peaceful green island in a sea of traffic, Denny Park lies on the
central business district's northern fringe, and is surrounded by
major thoroughfares. Broad pathways planted with rhododendrons and
azaleas lead to a central circle.
Project Description:
The schematic plan is complete. The Friends of Denny Park worked with
The Berger Partnership, the community, a Project Advisory Team
consisting of local stakeholders and Parks to develop a play space
and revitalization plan for the park.
The next steps are to start design development and to raise funds.
The Friends of Denny Park are going to apply for a $100,000
Neighborhood Matching Fund award for 2007.
